In this artistic work, the auteur deals with the problem of partner violence against women in the Balkans, aiming to analyse the current situation, problems, and the response of the relevant state institutions. The results of her three-year research during her doctoral art studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade, Department of Digital Art, will be presented, focusing on film directing in digital media, which must meet specific requirements and achieve certain goals.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Branka Be\u0161evi\u0107 Gaji\u0107 (1982)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Award-winning film and television director, theater and audio-visual artist, PhD of Arts, creative producer and screenwriter. She completed her master&#8217;s degree at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, under the mentorship of Professor Goran Pekovi\u0107, with her master&#8217;s degree in film\u00a0<em>The House of Angels,\u00a0<\/em>written and directed by her, becoming a pioneer of the forensics thriller. She made her debut with the film\u00a0<em>Lau\u0161<\/em>, exploring the darkest secrets of our recent past and the tragedy of evil times through the prism of a tragic moment. She has won awards for screenwriting and directing at international film festivals. She dedicated her doctoral dissertation to film directing in digital media. Under the mentorship of Prof. Ivan Pravdi\u0107, PhD of Arts and Sonja Marinkovi\u0107, PhD, she made an interactive feature film on partner violence, defending it at the University of Arts in Belgrade.
